It was a phone call that changed things…forever.
After a dozen years as a typical real estate agent, I was frustrated…tired of the grind. I wanted more. I wanted to really make a difference in peoples’ lives…to be a guide in their journey and to feed my creativity by transforming houses from what they are to what they could be. I couldn’t have known then that I would end up starting a company that buys houses in Atlanta…but…that is what I did.
I got a call from Fannie Mae. It was July 2000. They wanted me to become a REO/Foreclosure Broker…to deal with distressed homes and work with homeowners in difficult circumstances. That one call changed my life and launched me into a niche of real estate that would drive my career and lay the groundwork for what we do here. Resideum is the culmination of years of experience with distressed homes. We have valued and sold thousands of houses in Metro Atlanta, renovated hundreds and hundreds more…and been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with many, many fantastic homeowners along the way.
